Charlotte and Alexander’s wedding in Charleston, South Carolina, was a perfect blend of tradition, elegance, and timeless romance. Set against the historic charm of Charleston, this stunning celebration captured the essence of southern hospitality and old-world glamour.
The day began with a beautiful Latin Mass at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church on Sullivan’s Island. This church, where the couple regularly attends, set the tone for the entire day, offering a serene and sacred backdrop for the couple’s vows. The Latin Mass, with its rich traditions and beautiful rituals, was a deeply meaningful moment for Charlotte and Alexander, surrounded by close family and friends.
After the ceremony, we headed to Alexander’s family home, where we took portraits in the lush gardens. The setting was truly picturesque—manicured gardens, elegant architecture, and the kind of intimate, personal touch that made the day even more special.
The evening culminated with a black-tie reception at Society Hall in downtown Charleston, a venue known for its historic charm and sophisticated ambiance. The space was transformed into a glamorous setting with candlelight, floral arrangements, and a touch of southern class. Guests were treated to a lively atmosphere, with a 12-piece jazz band providing smooth tunes throughout the evening. The energy was unmatched as friends and family danced the night away, celebrating the newlyweds in style.
The weather was absolutely perfect—a warm Charleston evening, with just enough of a breeze to make everyone feel at ease. But what truly made the event unforgettable was the love and joy shared between Charlotte and Alexander, their families, and the close-knit group of friends that gathered to celebrate their union.
From the elegant ceremony at Stella Maris to the chic reception at Society Hall, Charlotte and Alexander’s wedding was an event that will be remembered for years to come. A beautiful blend of tradition, luxury, and southern charm—this Charleston wedding truly had it all.
