This past Christmas, I had the chance to document the season for some dear family friends in the most honest way; right at home. There were no forced poses or perfect setups, just kids being exactly who they are and life unfolding naturally in the background. The beauty lived in the chaos: kids eating pickles straight from the jar, slipping on boots to head outside, climbing trees, and wandering down to the creek. It was slow, real, and unpolished in the best way, capturing not a picture-perfect holiday, but the feeling of it as it truly was.
