A Nashville Catholic Wedding to Remember: Joshua & Mary’s Beautiful Celebration
May 27, 2025
This Memorial Day weekend, I had the honor of photographing a truly special Catholic wedding in Nashville. Joshua, the son of my neighbor and friend, married his beautiful bride, Mary, in a heartfelt ceremony at Holy Rosary Catholic Church — a day filled with faith, love, and family. The celebration began with a sacred Catholic Mass, made even more meaningful as Joshua’s father served as a deacon.
After the ceremony, we headed to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel for a romantic portrait session. Surrounded by lush gardens and cascading waterfalls, Joshua and Mary soaked in their first quiet moments as husband and wife. The Opryland’s timeless beauty created the perfect backdrop.
The evening ended at St. Stephen Catholic Community in Mt. Juliet, where the reception was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and prayer. It was a powerful reminder that Catholic weddings in Nashville are more than events — they’re sacred celebrations of love and tradition.
A Personal Note
Thank you, Joshua and Mary, for trusting me to capture your day. It was a joy to document your story and share in the beauty of your beginning.
