Welcoming Sweet Palmer Lee | Newborn Session

This past week I had the joy of photographing little Palmer Lee, who was just 5 days new. From the moment I walked into her impecially decorated pink nursery, I knew this newborn photo session was going to be something special. The beautiful wallpaper, gorgeous details, and warmth of the space made the perfect backdrop for capturing these early days of her life.

Palmer was such a peaceful baby-calm, content, and already showing off her calm countenance. There’s something so sweet about newborn photography in those first few days. Babies are still curled up, so tiny, and every feature feels like a miracle.

What made this session even sweeter was that her parents are new friends of mine from the gym. Getting to step into their home and photograph their newborn lifestyle session was such a gift. You can tell right away how smitten they are with their little girl. They held her with such love and tenderness, and it’s clear they are already absolutely rocking parenthood.

I loved watching the way they looked at Palmer with the smiles, little kisses and the little laughs as she stretched or yawned, and the way they instinctively knew just how to comfort her.

Palmer’s in-home newborn session was filled with a whole lot of love. I feel so honored to have been able to capture these memories for her family, and I can’t wait to watch her grow.
